What is Web Revival ?

To me, Webrevival is an online movement that aspires to claim back the internet.
We are influenced by the freedom of the wild array of websites and personal pages of Web 1.0, and we reject both Web 2.0’s corporatisation of media and Web 3.0’s automated dead internet dystopia. Web revival is a wide word that describes a “web” ;) of interconnected individually owned website, each ran by their own passionate creator. Personal pages are meant to be seen as pieces of art and it’s quite common to see retro, y2k (year 2000), frutiger aero or XP aesthetics and sometimes even eyebleeding extravagant pages as we try to find an inner peace far from the sanitized and dehumanized minimalism of modern internet’s major websites.
